Mir Raza Ali Sohail was born on October 19, 1971 in Hyderabad, Andhara Pradesh, India. Sohail was educated at City College and Graduate from Dr B. R. Ambedkar University. He began to read and write poetry in 1995, while doing Government Job in Hyderabad Metro Water Supply and Swerage Board as a Assistant, Finance & Accounts. His First Poem (Ashaar) was Naush-e-Karbobala ka Mayre Lab Par Naam Hai at Jashan-e-Qasim (a.s.) in Parwana-e-Qasim (a.s.), He is the author of Three collections of poetry and He published his first collection of poems, Khushboo-e-Midhat in 2000, Second Collection of poems is published in 2008 and the third collection is published in 2011.
Since then, Sohail has published numerous collections of poems, most recently is Jabtak Zuban Pe Meri Raha Fatima Ka Naam, some of his poems which are internationally famous is listed below

He also went across India and Gulf for reciting his poems. He Start going out off Hyderabad from 2003, His first trip was Lucknow – Raebareli – Delhi – Jogipur – Hyderabad in 2003,
Sohail has also recite Marsiye & Nohay in Majalis during the Month of Moharram, Safar & Rabi-ul-awwal, He also written Nohay (Commemoration Poems) for Many Parties (Anjumans) in Moharram, which are listed below
